I made a mistake on my P21

I made a mistake when filling out my P21 on Paye Anytime as I started a new job in October and my new firm have yet to enter in my pay and tax on the revenue system, obviously until P60's are issued.

I noticed I got over 2000 euros back in tax when I manually filled out my pay and tax for the final part of 2008.

But I have realised the tax figure I entered from my Payslip was the combined tax paid for both jobs and not the new job as I first thought

Do I contact the revenue and advise them of my mistake and offer to repay the difference or do I wait until my P60 is submitted by my employer and see if the revenue reduce my tax credits accordingly and finally would I get into trouble as I submitted the wrong figure by accident??

    Thanks
