    I think my old bike had one like that on it. I wrapped a thin rag around it and used a vice grips to loosen it iirc.

    hey,

    Anytime i have seen those you need either:

    1. allen key
    2. Tamperproof allen key

    or in rare cases a unique key, They are a pain in the arse:( but a even bigger pain in the arse if you want to rob my wheel:pac:

    That looks like a nut - what's on the other (bolt) side?

    If it's like this, then you just need an allen key.

    if its the krypto type, good luck, if 5 sided, a selection of flat head screw drivers, one will fit in and use a grips to turn that...

    but really, whats the other side like???

    I have the same problem in removing my wheels to change tyres.Will upload a picture later to show everyone exactly what the bolts look like.
