JG G36C has a decent rail on top, nice small one under it, great AEG too

yeh i was thinking that but ive already got a g36k:p

and i was thinking more along the size of an mp5?

Lol okay, hmmm maybe one of those new ACM P90s in tri rail version? Supposed to be great things altogether

You can also add rails to either side for about 8dolla,

I have this gun myself and its a brilliant piece. it was my first gun when i started. You can fold it at the stock too if you need something a bit shorter so its pretty versatile.,:)

EDIT: just seen you have a G36k, you could always buy the C front end kit and interchange them as you go depending on what type of gun you need. theres only 2-3 screws holding the front end on one of them.,

you can get rail mounts for mp5 aegs

so if you want a mp5 size aeg with rails there is the perfect solution providing you have the cash of course.

BNah, this is what you want. Long RIS on top, and 3 small ones on the front. Only slightly bigger than the MP5 but no fiddly little mags.

The mags are the reason I still don't own one of those. Between hard to get expensive midcaps and even harder to get mag pouches, the MP5 is more practical. At least the MP5 mags will fit an STANAG pouch if you don't want specific MP5 pouches, and the mags are cheap and easy to find.
I kind of prefer the UMP to the MP5 A-series looks wise, but it's just not as practical.

If you dont mind Hi-caps the DE ones are real easy to get. Under 10 USD each from memory, just add them on to bigger orders. Doesn't tony stock them?

    Yeah but hicaps are cr*p.,
you can use the G&G ones though,.,

okay, i have waited and waited and no one has said what needs to be said...

i shall unleash the unholy war....i shall break the truce....

a ris front ended compact m4....

(takes helmet ducks down awaiting the inevitable ak incoming and the insane anti m4 brigades)....

or you could look at a sig 556...they are compact have have loads of rails..

Not really that compact falls, and can you get an airsoft 556? You could get a 552(Folding Stock = Super compact) but the rail space is very limited.

You can get a 556 alright but they are the size of an M16, with the folding stock it brings it down to M4 size.

Having got a G&G UMP last week I was suprised at how bulky it is for a SMG. With the silencer and stock extended its longer than an AUG and has a very short barrel in comparison. You'd need P90 mag pouches to hold UMP mags.

I think you're better off with a G36C or an MP5 retractable stock RIS variant over a UMP.

So for for me the DE hi-caps are feeding better the the G&G high-caps. I find the G&G ones need a few smacks to keep the bbs feeding where as the DE ones are flawless except they feel very cheap compared to the G&G polymer.

A stubby killer would be a perfect gun, i've often slung one under my arm with a bungee sling while carrying the primary of an M4 or scar with no problems, then im also only carrying one type of magazines.,:)

Thats actually just a Galaxy MP5k/PDW with a funny rail and an M4 stock, id must rather just get an MP5J since it'll have a longer barrel even though the gun is about the same length and the ROF will be better. oh and you can get an RIS front end for it.,

any idea where you can get the RIS bit for it?

Here is an RIS MP5 kit, it won't fit on an MP5K though.

    http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?products_id=1062

Here is a JG MP5 A4 RIS but its over the limit.

    http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?products_id=1742

Or this rail kit that gives a bit more rail space.
