Anyone know any retailers that sell AK74 style midcap mags? Can't find any on the main three Irish dealers (airsofteire, eirsoft, MIA).

    I think gunner do them.

rsov have some low cost shipping options for mags, so they are worth checking, but only do high-caps as far as I know.

ebaybanned or tactical gear depot may also have them

Or you could ask a retailer to get in a box on their next shipment, the mag brand ones come in boxes of 5, and are very reliable, I have 8.

The guys at eirsoft sorted me out with some AK 47 waffle style mid-caps last saturday, dunno if they've got AK 74 style mids but if you ask 'em they might be able to sort something for ya

One thing to note is sometimes the midcaps don't feed out of the box.You may have to file the mag catch on your AK.Just file the very end of the catch carefully until it can lock in place.Just file a little bit and keep checking till it locks in place as it's safer to constantly test than file to much.

Edit:also +1 on mag brand they seem to feed better th Star.
