There's dedicated bike parking at the rear of the JJ Library but anywhere near bicycle racks where it's not obstructing people seems to be OK. The concourse opposite the restaurant is pretty popular. I don't think they'd be removed, more likely clamped, but I've never seen a bike clamped in UCD.

There's signs up saying no motorcycles on the concourse, it'd be pretty dangerous in term during the day when there's a lot of people about. Often see bikers in the morning and evening using them though.

I've seen a few motorbikes parked up near the entrance of the Newstead building, the former Philips building halfway to Richview past the rugby fields. The service desk is usually manned, with a good view of the bikes, so there's some security. You'd come in the Clonskeagh Rd. entrance, take left and left again just past the water tower (I think).

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Behind the library is the 'designated area' but anywhere not in the way is fine. I know someone who had their bike clamped behind the library as it encroached onto the disabled parking space beside it by a matter of inches, so be vigilant!
