Hi, just wanted to know what would be the best way to book a holiday there (2 adults, 3 sons age 17-22).
Should we book a package deal with someone? Or book it all seperately (do flights etc seperately).

    Thanks.

I did it DIY. Got the villa, flight then car hire in that order.

Is price your issue? If so then price up both options and see what comes out best.

Do you want to go for an odd amount of days? Some people go for 17 days and thats where you have to DIY it as most TO`s only offer the standard 7, 14 nights.

Check out thedibb.co.uk for excellent advice and tips on all things Disney.

+1 for booking it youself, I booked my holiday to Orlando for myself and hubby for August and got flights, hotel (a Disney property) and 14 day unlimited Disney tickets for €2609, the same holiday WITHOUT the park tickets on Tour America and American holidays were €3600 +. A villa would definitely be your best bet for all those adults, it will afford you much more space than a hotel. thedibbs is a good site, but I would also recommend theTrip Advisor Orlando forum for Villa advice (much more user friendly IMHO).

With regards to flights, check out www.expedia.com or www.cheaptickets.com. I saved €500 on our flights with British Airways. I believe United Airlines can be good value as well (I think they use Air Lingus). Booking with Air Lingus direct is the most expensive option in my experience, but they are the only airline that fly direct.

For theme park tickets, NEVER EVER book from and Irish site or travel agent, they are a rip off. Use official ticket sites like www.undercovertourist.com, www.mapleleaftickets.com or www.ticketmania.com, they work out quite a bit cheaper than buying here, especially if the euro is strong against the dollar.
