Looking to book a Snow holiday in Late March around Paddy's days for a week,

I have just begun to snowboard so am looking for good snow and nightlife if all is possible.

Can anyone point me in the right direction and will there be much snow in March

I would reccomend giving the champs a look
    http://www.irishsnowchamps.com
the night events are pretty wild tho, so I wouldn't reccommend it if you're a family group

Or failing that, I think you will find that March is one of the best months of the year to go boarding in, as in most resorts the snow depths peak around early march, plus the weather is generally nice (generally), so you have a wide range of options

Need a few more details really - are you planning to go it alone or with a TO? Budget? Country? Group size? Nearest airport?

I find you cant beat Austria for good apres action!

I am trying to get a group going say about 10 or 12 people.

I just came back from boarding in Lake Tahoe and really enjoyed it!

Well I was out in France over new years and that cost me about €650 all in and am heading to Morzine in March for

    €70 car hire
    €108 apartment
€100 flight (am flying sleazy jet BRS - GEN)
    €60 food fuel ect
    €168 5 day lift pass
    €506 total

I have my own skis and boots. So I thought that was a pretty good price for a weeks skiing.

So yes it can be done for well under 1000.

Do you want SC or hotel? With a big gang of you you might get a TO discount for a group? Maybe check that out. If you do go down that alley they once you have a deposit off everyone and have paid it to the TO it makes it so the other people cant pull out as easily as if you had booked a SC chalet yourself.

If you do decide to go it alone then check out a few apartments in the same building or a chalet - loads of options on homelidays.com.

A few places I have been to and that have good night life are Soll in Austria, St Anton Austria, Kitzbuhel Austria, Arinsal Andorra, Soldeu Andorra. I find the French resorts a little quieter than Austria and found Canada and the Us to be the quietest of all (Banff and Squaw vallley).

Ive been to Saalbach myself and it is the best resort i have been to yet. Skiing/boarding is great, so many slopes to choose from and the apres ski is top notch, there is a great atmosphere in the town! I highly recommend it.
