Was thinking of doing the half marathon on 03/MAY 09 its in Cork starting in Glengarriff(not too familiar with this area) I am in the Limerick area. I would be into fitness but have never done anything like this before. I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing it. Really i suppose to train with and do the marathon with I would love to do it even with a few people together to have a bit of craic. Nobody i know would be really into that kind of thing.

i have no interest in training but i do live here so if you want to know about the track the first 2 to 3 miles you run away from where your going to up a forest and through and back to the start that part actually the whole thing is very scenic then you jog 3 miles till you get to the highest point in the course then its about the remaining 8 miles downhill on a main road with all those timing gates and what not
