Any idea what the going rate for agricultural land is at present?
Thinking of purchasing a few acres to set up a small -holding.

About 12K per acre in a very rural part of Wicklow according to a valuation I received last week

Thanks for that Annamoe. No doubt it varies as to the quality of the land!

    Probably.
The land I am talking about is hilly farmland.

What I'm looking at sounds similar though there is about 3 or 4 acres of moorland.
