    Hi all,
have found a dress that I think may be the one - have made an appointment with the nearest stockest for next week. This designer is not stocked by many shops, only a few shops in Ireland. The designer website gives no price lists, and NONE of the shops I have contacted have given me the price! two don't have it in stock, said they'd get back to me, 1 I am still waiting on an email from, and the one I am going to for the fitting fudged a bit and waffled on the phone, no price list to hand...... I have no idea how much this dress retails at!

Now I have seen the same dress on line- at it seems like a good price - but without knowing the retail price it is hard to know if it is worth taking the chance on line. If I only save €100 I wouldn't risk it, but if its €500?????

its a mikaela gown - anyone know if these are pricy dresses/midrange? are we talking average €500, €1000 or more? I am clueless when it comes to wedding dress labels!

    Hi,

I just got married recently and wore a Mikaela Dress, it would be about 1500 in a shop here, I think most of their range would be around that price bracket in Ireland. You have the option to buy online which would save you alot but if you do make sure its from a reputable seller, there are alot of dodgy online stores selling copies of dresses. There is a store in New York called RK Bridal and they are an authorised dealer for lots of brands and I know they sell Mikaela dresses as I went to their store when I was in New York. You could try on the dress in a shop here, check the label for the size and then order from RK Bridal and they will ship it over, you have to ring them for a price. Hope this helps.

Oh meant to add that the price of the dress from RK would be around 600-700 dollars so quite a saving to what you would pay here!

    thanks girl24.

Shop finally got back to me - prices from €1200-€1600, and the one I want is €1300. On the net for A LOT LESS from a shop in UK as a sample! I am going to try it on on th 29th Jan, and if it suits and I like it I have decided not to confuse myself and keep looking - I'm only going on a 'hunt' if I have to! Too many choices! lol I just hope that if I DO like it on that the internet lady still has it! oh, the suspense! lol

unfortunatelt i do not have the time or budget for a trip to NY, as wedding is on 7th MAY!!!!!!!! yes, that soon! (change of venue, meant to be in turkey where I can get a dress ordere and sent in in 2 weeks, so should have had LOADS of time, but due to family ill health wedding is now in 2 parts, one in Dub one in Ireland, so have to get everything organised for Dublin in 4 mths!!!!)

fingers crossed for me that this is the dress of my dreams and they internet lady still has it!!!!!!
