Has anyone here any experience with these? Enterprise Ireland sent me this Q&A sheet which will be determine if my project is eligible for assistance. Has anyone ever done one of these before, exactly how much details do I need to provide?

Who are you pitching to? Are they technical / non technical? How long is a piece of rope? If you're looking for money I'd be sure that you will have to provide a lot of detail and a fairly sound rationale behind the purpose of your business.

    Howdy,

I wouldn't get too caught up with the detail on this. They're just trying to gauge the potential of your idea and your ability to follow through on it. You can't blame them really for throwing some of this at ya, proves how hungry you are to move it to the next level. Next stage on this is you pop into them for a chat if what the read there makes sense. So keep it high level, technology free and talk about the benefits, the fact it will be exportable (v. important) and what resources it will required to develop it.

While getting HPSU status at this stage will certainly open up a lot of doors both within EI and elsewhere, it's not the end of the world if you don't get it. Another route would be to get onto an incubation program with your idea and apply for CORD from EI. From there you can build up your idea and your business within the supports of the incubator.

    Good Luck with it!

    Adrian.
