Only if you don't enter a correct channel number in time .

Yes it is annoying especially the way the guy in it seems so chirpy to be using the TV Guide (although in fairness the interface to his guide is a fancy-dan 3D version like Tom Cruise had in Minority Report).

The channel should have some visual indictor showing where you are in the programme loop. New segments are meant to be added, but I for one won't be waiting around watching it. It's dire.

i DON'T want to watch it. But it automatically goes to it all the time because our remote tends to stick. still drives me crazy.

my dad pointed out that the guy who is on it looks like the gremlins under the toenails in the ad for foot odour. it's so true

He wrecks my head, our box tends to hang on the page if you enter numbers too quickly (or incorrectly).

On a serious note though, why place it as channel 100 and not in the 900s?

I presume you are having the problem when switching to one of the 10* channels?

yep it does it when i go for the 100's but sometimes it just goes to it when i try to change and the buttons wont work on the remote. the 900's that's a good idea.

i'm going to send an email to ntl. and they'll think i'm a sad loser with no life.... but they're soooo wrong i swear, my mom thinks i'm cool

Its on 999 for me so never had these problems.

This UPC/NTL/Chorus fella was annoying me so much that I locked channel #100 so when it does switch to it (usually after my remote throws a random '5' at the system) it comes up with "This channel is locked"

You still get about 0.25 secs of his voice before it is muted.

I hope to god they change the default channel back when this big switch over to the new cards is done. Even rte1 is better than that unnecessarily happy man!

This channel is very useful and informative.

I think this man speaks to us in an adult way and I could spend hours watching in case I miss anything.

Also this channel is updated all the time so the stream of vital useful information keeps flowing.:D
