I'm forever buying sh1te I mean boxing memorabilia and bringing it into the house but I think the soon to be Mrs. Sligobhoy is going to freak when this comes through the door.

    a. what do you think of it?

    b. have you ever bought anything as ridiculous?

    a. I think if he hadn't of missed it would be worth a lot more value(some of you should know what this refers to)

b.no, but it's not that bad really. He's a former World champion.

    a. I think its lead lined! ;)

    b. Undefeated world champion I might add, and not of some mickey mouse belt either!

Sorry to rain on your parade Sligobhoy, but the IBF was in it's infancy at the time and he beat an extremely ordinary boxer in Manley to win the very lightly regarded belt at the time. Then he made one defence against a Japanese nobody and retired.

He never beat a top notch boxer.

But, getting back to the issue in hand, tell her you can do whatever you want with your money. Should get an interesting reaction !!

    a) Its class

    b) Nope :P

Well for £111 I think its excellent. Former Britsh, European and IBF world champ and remains as Englands only ever undefeated world champ. Plus its a robe he wore to the ring and by the sounds of things he has a pretty unique story to tell!

Even thoug he missed, he could have given Frankie a good beating in the ring.
I think it's a little strange that Terry was due to meet Warren to defend his title right before he reitired

Frankie loses to Buddy McGirt for the vacated IBF title

thanks, I actually think its a good buy. I've made literally 1,000's from eBay over the past six or seven years. And I reckon if I was to sell it that I could make a profit easy enough as long as the right people were made aware of the sale - a couple of posts on boxing forums in the UK would do the trick.

Especially if you think that Magri's robe is on the market for £5,000 on eBay.
