    Anyone else remember this game?

Myself and a couple of my friends had a PC version of this (back in the day's of the 286 & 386), but when the time came and the PC's got upgraded to Pentiums, the game ran so quickly it became impossible to play! :P

It was great craic though, and fulfilled all our childhood dreams of flying an X-Wing.

... and then Lucas Arts released X-Wing! :D

I surely do. I also had it on my 386. One of my favourite games for many a year. It was hard to become tired of flying down the trench on the Deathstar!

    :D It sure was!!!

I did prefer flying down the trench on X-Wing though...

Well, I reckon most of the folk on this particular forum would be familiar with this game, it's one the most iconic games of all time, up there with Galaga, Pacman and SpaceInvaders!

What I would love would be the sit down version of this, it was the deluxe edition, lovely sound, vector graphics were awesome!
Nice to pick up the Empire Strikes Back upgrade board too, so you have both.

Pity Return of the Jedi sucked though, as an arcade game, natch.

Really??? I didn't realise it was anywhere near that iconic...

I can't even remember how we got hold of it, probably came on a disc that was on PC Zone or something!
