I had the misfortune of flicking over to Sky News last night only to see their breaking news was Prince Harry in racist video shocker. The video was supplied by News of the Word and contained "shocking" scenes of racism and bigotry.

    Except it didn't.

Sky had two "experts" on and unfortunately for Sky, neither of them would rise to the bait an give a damning indictment of young Harold. I had to chuckle when both of them essentially agreed that it was general army banter and all said in for a laugh.

And then the killer blow - the video was taken three years ago.

Talk about hyping up something out of nothing. Must be a slow news week in the NOTW.

Sky News is the unacceptable face of television news.

Would agree. I can't believe this is still the top story on Sky News.

Yeah shameless promotion of a Murdock owned newspaper (of course Sky is owned by Murdock).

The Sky website is a sham - it's the Sun in disguise.

saw a column in the metro about prince harry apologising over this...pulling up old news because they have nothing else to write about ends up going way too far when its in every newspaper in some shape or form!

his mates were calling him a ginger and nothing was said - this whole story is a complete farce, if anything it makes Prince Henry (bolded for Tom Dunne :)) more likeable imo.

I don't buy tabloids because I'm too busy plotting arson attacks on their newspaper offices. Grrrrrr..

Their only value is for lining your cat's litter tray. That, and they exist to make broadsheets look fabulous (not hard)!!
