Everyday dresses & boots query?

Was just wondering if anyone knew where i could pick up a few inexpensive dresses that one could wear as everyday kinda casuals? Suitable for wearing with tights and flats etc for example

Also I'm a size six in shoes but find that most boots (knee-high) this size won't close around my calves, I'd have to go for the next size up but hence the problem of not being able to walk in them! does anyone know of anywhere that stock boots that would be wider round this area?

Thanks in advance for any replies :)

H&M do aome nice wrap dresses etc which are good with flats and boots.

I have the same problem with my calves, I got a pair in Dunnes that fitted but the only other pairs I could find that fitted were in Evans - and they were a little big around the calves.

Duo boots is really the only place to go to if you have wider calves. They have a sale on at the moment, and when combined with the drop in sterling, their prices are now quite reasonable. Their boots are great quality as well.

I have the same problem and got a great pair of boots from Oxendales. The price wasn't bad at all and you can pay back monthly or all at once to get it out of the way.. happy days wether your flush or not!:D

asos.com have a section for day dresses that are reasonably priced, might be worth a look.

+2 for asos, I adore their dresses, the sale is pretty good (especially with sterling the way it is), and they let you return things if you don't like them.

Also, penneys have some really nice dresses in at the moment, some of them are only 17e too. And you can always wear them with a chunky belt to make them more daytime, or wear them with heels for going out!
