    I know it sounds bizarre but touching it makes me cringe. The lads in school in the biology lab get a great laugh out of it. Putting it in my locker aswell and my schoolbag.

    Ah I'm a newbie to Boards and all my weirdness is coming out - yeah, I hate the sound of cotton wool tearing and I hate touching it - also, hate the sound and feel of sponges?! The thoughts of cutting either cotton wool or sponges with a scissors send shivers down my spine!!

    Same as i work in a creche and had no choice but to get use to it. A lot of people in work have this fear too its quite common!

    this is my first time every hearing of people having a phobia of cotton wool. but i don't it is bizzare at all.

    i kind of have a phobia of cows......hate the way they start at you....like they are watching you......freaky animals!!!!

    but it is weird how different people get a fear of different things???
