Which do you prefer Epiphone or Aria?

    the first real bass i bought was an aria pro II, got it for about £400 punts about 15 yrs ago, sounds as good as any passive bass up to about double the price, had an epi LP cherry flame maple top, a real beaut.... i cant make my mind up, sorry. if pushed i'd say aria

    Aria Pro II.

    If you look around you can find great deals on 80's Japanese made ones. I have three Aria pro II basses. Fantastic instruments.

    I don't prefer either of them but if you really mean "Which do you think is better - Epiphone or Aria?", I would say Aria. I'm basing that purely on having never played an Epiphone guitar that I liked. I have played some sweet Aria gear in the past though.

    Oh btw, top end Aria stuff would be around the €2000 - €2500 mark new. Just a "tad" more than the top end Epiphones me thinks... :p

    oh sorry didn't realise that Aria did that expensive stuff. What i meant was stuff equal to epiphone
