file formats

    Hey people,i"ve wrote cv"s in word and notepad but cannot e-mail them, they need to be in ,.doc,.txt, or.pdf, what have i done wrong ? can i change the format? will i have to write them again? any help appreciated.

    Does it have a file extension?

    "my cv 2009.doc" for a .doc for example.

    If not you should rename it as above.

    notepad saves documents as .txt by default. Wordpad as .rtf

    Here's the easiest thing to do:
    -Open your CV in Microsoft Word again
    -Click "File", then "Save as"
    -Below the name there should be a dropdown box where you choose what file format to use. Just select .doc and you should be able to email it fine.
