10 Best Albums of the 00's

I noticed in the thread: 10 Hip Hop Albums you should definitely own?
I noticed that the majority of the albums were before the millenium. So this was the allow for some diversity.

My 10:

The Lost Tapes is cheating, it may have been realeased in 2002 but the songs were mostly written and recorded around the same time as I Am which is why I left it out of my 10.

Also, I had American Gangster down but at the last moment went with The Blueprint becuase I've listened to it far more than American Gangster and imo it was a much better record than Stillmatic.

Personally, I prefer the darker production and lyrics on American Gangster. Blueprint is probably tighter as a whole, but it kind of bores me. In fact, both Stillmatic and Blueprint are overrated to me.

As far as The Lost Tapes is concerned...well I'm just going to go ahead and ignore you. :P Some of the tracks are from the Stillmatic era anyway, so it straddles both decades, and was released in the 00's. Thats enough for me. Anyway, their were plenty of albums that were recorded in the 90's and released in the 00's.
