Sky Card swap

I am sure this question has been answered before so bare with me.

I have 2 Sky+ boxes with 2 subscription cards. I have setanta on only one. Can i swap the cards between boxes so i can watch setanta in the room i want to view it in or will this f***k up the card??

If the Pay channel is "locked" to the Digibox (Sky Sports is, Sky Mix packs are not), then it simply doesn't work.
"This is the wrong Card" or such appears.

It doesn't hurt the card at all.

A locked card can be moved to a different box by phoning with card details and new box details. I don't know if Setanta is "premium" and locked. But it won't hurt to test it.

I'm not sure aboput switching the cards, but I'd say it won't hurt to try. Shouldn't affect the cards.

If you were looking for a more permanent solution, couldn't you just switch the boxes?

No i am not looking to change permantly,there are just some days when we have the fire lighting in sitting room , i lke to watch sport rugby or golf which is shown on setanta

Ok ,I have just tried the swap and this is what happened:

Setanta works ok but Sky sports doesnt

For sky sports it says' wrong card inserted for this box'

So it seems I can change it for setanta but if i want to watch sky sports i have to change them back
