Realpayer? I think a Realplayer message pops up giving you an option to download what you are watching

The video download helper addon for firefox is pretty good if you're a firefox user. Not sure whether or not is supports that site though.

I use video download on firefox meself. Hate real player. Video download helper works on most sites that use flash. Dunno bout streaming sites though. Dont know the site your on about. Using phone now so cant check that site . Even if it is a streaming site ya can download software to capture video in real time.

    UnPlug Firefox plugin.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2254

It's a pity this is overlooked for more popular plugins, as I find this will deal with 'non standard' flash video sites far better than the rest. I had to download ads from the DMF (sofas, don't ask..) website recently and this was the only one that worked.

Looks sweet, but not compatible with 3.0 and later. :/ Did a quick search and found Embedded Objects which looks to do much the same. Haven't had much luck in finding an equivalent Opera all-in-one widget, but then again, I rarely use Opera.

Sorry, I didn't notice that, I'm a Firefox 2.0 Final user.. I'll eventually bother with 3.0 at some point. There are kludges in the comments to install on Firefox 3.0. I can't vouch for them.

I've tried the methods suggested above but am not having any success in finding a plugin that will work with the videos from oneandother.co.uk. It is the videos of "artists" that went and stood on the empty plinth in Trafalgar Square for an hour each during the summer, and my brother was one of them so wants a copy of his video.

The video looks to be Flash based but not having done much previously with trying to grab even the likes of YouTube videos I'm a bit stumped. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to grab the video?

They were supposed to send the participants a DVD of their hours I think but that shows no sign of actually happening so wanting to get the video ourselves whilst the site is still live.

View the source of the page and you'll find the link to the .flv file down near the bottom.

    for example
