Pipes: Qualpex v Copper

    Anyone any experience on using Qualpex pipes? Seems cheaper solution but wondering if there's any downsides to it?

    Plumber is recommending Copper for house refurb. 10 Rads and u/w floor heating.

    Its all Qualpex or Acorn nowadays. Very little copper being used.

    I used Qualpex thoughout, I would stay away from the push-fit connectors though as they have been known to unpush themselves.
    Use compression fittings with inserts and you will be fine.
    Qualpex can be used up to 1m from the boiler.

    Same here, you need fewer connectors with plastic pipe as well as the advantage of being able to thread the pipe through walls/floors etc.
