Player died an Irish death

BF has murdered his beloved Cowon D2 by knocking a pint of Guinness over it. Cowon's official tech support & repairs are in Korea or USA so sending it there with the cost of repair would probably amount to the price of a new one. Miraculously it seems to work apart from the touch screen - it lights up but does not react to the touch. Since there is no dedicated Play button we can't check if it still plays music though. We took it apart and dried what we could but obviously there are some nooks that can't be reached.

Is there any place in Dublin where somebody might have a look at it and see if there is any chance of making it work again?

no one covers liquid damage, ask any mobile phone shop about water damaged phones

you could try washing it with isopropy alcohol ( Boots / chemist ) to remove some of the gunk but likely that the damage is already done and stressed electronics will fail in the future

Sure we are prepared to pay, it's just that sending it there and back would take ages and moneywise it makes more sense to get a new one. Ahhh it was only 2 months old!
