Trying to get to Mykonos!!!

    Hey there,

I want to go on a holiday to the Greek island Mykonos with my friends this summer. Apparently it has an active gay scene and we're all gay and want to see Greece. I'm finding it very troublesome trying to find holiday deals in Ireland for Mykonos. I know XL holidays used to do deals to Mykonos but they're gone now since they collapsed last year. Just need information like if anyone has ever been there and if so, who did you go with?

    Thanks. ;)

    Hi
Unfortunately i dont there is anywhere that is doing direct packages out of ireland this year. XL did have the exclusive market on it.

Only think i can think of is a flight to Crete and a ferry across, you should be able to arrange accom down there over the net - careful though it's very pricey!

Other option is to book with a UK Tour operator and fly out of the UK some like Olympic holidays might be an idea or Thomson.

Hope you get there cos Greece is fab!!! (I'm not biased at all :P)

Rather than taking the ferry you can fry from Athens in no time at all with either of these companies :

    www. aegeanair.com/
    http://www.olympicairlines.com/

The ferry is 5 hours and the high-speed about 3 hours. the flight is about 40 minutes and Aegeanair is a low-cost carrier so possibilities of geting cheap flights to the island.
