    Hi All,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but my girlfriend is organizing a hen's in Galway City and she asked me to ask if people could recommend a nice restaurant for a group of about 20, preferably Italian?

Another vote for Al Murretto. They have no problem with large groups as well.

    Hiya,

sorry to disagree - Al Muretto is not all that great .... merely rather average.
If that's what is wanted - then by all means

A very good Italian one is Il Folletto http://www.tasteofireland.com/frontend/restaurants/show/206-Il-Folletto-Quay-St-Galway- which serves authentic Italian food of VERY high quality w/o costing a fortune (no pizza's however - be prepared for real Italian cuisine ....). Would probably fit 20 if you book in good time.

    Just my 2c worth :D

Da Robertas is savage but its just not big enough for 20, well maybe but then you would have taken over the entire restaurant!

I have heard great things about Al Murretto aswell though!

Milanos would cater for 20 no probs. Often see hen partys in there.
Al Murrettos can be hit and miss.
