I need some thing thats in between! any suggestions?

Deben pro max Tracer with dimmer switch. good enough for foxes out to 300 meters and can be turned down to next to nothing so you can only see charlies eye while calling him and up again for the shot.

have been using it for years now and the only problem is extra elevation when going out beond 170 meters when its mounted on the scope., but thats sorted with a little bit of card as a wedge. you can mount it on the scope or buy a handle to use if someone else is lamping for you.

Dereelight DBS The best hand held LED light you can buy will out throw your led maglite by at least 20 times nothing else comes close to them in that size package:cool:

I also have a Surefire and its brill BUT running costs are high so i went about looking for recharging option for the surefire and came across this item:

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/Ultrafire-WF501B-R2CREE-LED-tactical-light-combo-set_W0QQitemZ150316640336QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item150316640336&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177
Its just as good as the Surefire includes pressure switch, tactical mount and it recharges tis great value and good quality gear,

I have one of the top model surefire lights(the m6) and the dereelight I posted about above puts it to absolute shame honestly in a small lightweight package the Dereelight will not be beaten and will take rechargables and give 90 minutes on full power:cool: !!

can definitely reccomend a cree type torch, the brightest most compact torches you can get, was out the other night with a 230 lumen surefire clone and it did the job out to near 100 yards, a bit bigger in size than a mini-maglite

any of these will do the trick, just read the reviews first.

just make sure you get the corresponding batteries & a universal charger, on the site also.
