    allright i shoot with a betinsoli sporter,shooting with a 36g 6 from first barrell and 36g 5 from second,just wandering wat anyone might use on game,all help appricaeted.

    with a 36 gram 5,6 load unless your shooting at 50 yards plus quarter and half . i shoot 36 gram and use half on game and full on fighting duck also use full on pigeon 32 gram 5,6 it will kill pigeon no problem at 60,70 yards if in the pattern

    You should really pattern your gun on a pattern plate. Different cartridges produce different patterns/densities in different guns.

    Some cartridges leave big gaps in the pattern while others are fairly consistent. This is especially relevant if you're shooting snipe/woodcock at ranges of 40 yards plus. The little buggers can slip unhurt through the pellet spread if there are big gaps.

    Try your gun at 1/4 and 1/2, then try it again at 1/2 and 3/4 and see how the pattern looks. Look for an even spread across the circle of the pattern. If you can't achieve that with any choke, then try a different brand of cartridge.
