Daffodill's as pew end ?

    Hi all i'am thinking of setting a date for the end of March begining of April 2010 & seen as daffodills are in season then & i know plenty of woods where they grow wild lol :D i was thinking of maybe puting them on the ends of the pews in the church just wondering do you think it would look too cheap, be honest thanks alot.

    They'd be lovely, especially maybe with some ivy or leaves. You'd have to be careful of them dripping, as I think the sap might stain clothes. I'm not sure. Cling film on the ends?

    Sounds fab but they definitely drip- they might get on people's clothes if they brush off them. You might need to look into putting them in little clear plastic bags with a nice little ribbon and they'd still look great and wouldn't spoil anyone's outfit.

    Yea i know what you mean about the sap i was thinking of tieing little bags on them & then covering them in crep paper maybe & tieing the daffodills onto the pew with a ribbon what do you think would it work ?

    Also dont they dry up quickly? If you can get some florists oasis and put them in it, wet it and then wrapr a bit of clingfilm and then crepe paper.

    I reckon it would be gorgeous. Green bridesmaids? My sister had a light green and they were gorgeous.
