If this is in the wrong forum then feel free to move Mod.
Is there any nice way of telling someone you don't want to go to their hen party?

Im a complete wimp and would probably tell a little fib about not being able to make it and sending a bottle of wine by way of apology.

I agree on this one - to actually tell someone you don't want to go could be a lil hurtful so in this case lil lies are not a bad thing.. depending on how well you know eachother, another wedding is a perfect excuse!

It's my boyf's brother's wedding and so it's his girlfriends' hen party. The reason I don't want to go is that she's been nothing but cutting and unpleasant to me since we first met and I don't want to be stuck with her and her friends! :o And I can't use any kind of holiday excuse etc because they know I've nothing planned and to suddenly have somewhere to go that wkd will just look obvious!

Say that you have a family function (your family) to attend that day and can't make it. Does your BF know you don't want to go? If so, get him to 'verify' that you have a family do that day.
