Has this been broken through to the Kilcullen Road (R448) yet? Got to head to an event out in the Kilashee House and it'd be nice to able to avoid the Maudlins Interchange and town centre...

Yeah its been broken through for a while now. Its not continuous. After the end of the original stretch, you have to head back in towards Naas on the Newbridge rd and turn onto the new stretch at Chadwicks. Were just waiting on a breakthrough to the blessington rd circa 2020, despite some signposts on the open stretch directing you to said town.:D

I knew about the northern ring and the break - I was planning on skipping around the town on the M7 to J10 instead; avoid the queue to get off left in to the town at the ball

Although I've since found out I'm going at 4:30 not 5:30 so should be a fair bit calmer!

Junction 10 sounds like a better idea alright. As I said its open and hardly used and has a lone, but hopeful roundabout in the middle. Regardless of time, best to avoid Naas town, its nearly always difficult.
