Did this course ever open? If so its the lowest of low keys launches I've ever heard of. Anyone played it?

I see plenty of ads for the Dave Pelz school, but nothing about the golf course

I think the course is just open to members as of last summer, but not totally certain.

I think until the solheim cup you can only play it if you go to the pelz school

A buddy of mine works at the Pelz Academy there and the course is indeed open for play, not too sure about this time of year, it opened i think towards the end of the Summer for light play, Hoping to get up and play it with him early this year and get a lesson off him too, He's a top teacher anyway and now that he's been trained at the pelz Academy in Florida for 6 months, i can't see myself Going any where else for putting help.

A work collegue of mine played it last Sun for the €100 deal they are doing at present. Best golfing experience of his life he said and well worth the €100. It also included a burger and drink at the 10th. The course is in perfect condition and the facilities are unbelievable from the moment you get there. Am tempted.....

Played it last summer in the middle of July and therefore in a torrential downpour - superb course and as stated above the burger and drink halfway was most welcome. Despite the heavy rain the course held up superbly.

Some excellent holes and a very decent finishing stretch that will be excellent in the Solheim Cup!

we played as a 4 ball in november and it lashed rain and howled wind the whole way around. it took 6 hours to finish the round. some very testing greens, long distances between tees, clubhouse and course are to the highest standards. i see in the irish independent today that membership is €5k gotta be a bargain. and forgot to say. open to anyone i believe. i just called them up and they gave me various dates and times to play.

Got the following text from the hotel / Club
Our Winter Rate is available until the 31st March for limited play Thursday & Friday’s, our green fees are €100 per person.

Our clubhouse is open for players only.

Green fee rates from the 1st of April to the 31st of October are, Monday & Tuesday €150 per person, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday’s €190 per person.

Not sure where w/e Golf fits in

i think that weekends are solely for members. makes sense i think. but yea it was €100 which was to include use of a buggy but due to the weather there was none available. they supplied us with electric carts though. tees and markers and divot repairers were handed out at the first tee. bags taken from the car and set up. all very efficient. well worth it.
