just thought I would put this up just in case someone was looking for a cheap way to impress their OH by taking them away for the night in Dublin while getting to do something nice aswell by using 2 of the current bargain alert threads.

Basically the last ice skating session of the season in the RDS still has some cheap tickets (sunday 9.30 - 10.30), 2 for €18, if you use the code 4LESSEZ from this thread and you can then get a night in the d4hotel just up the road for basically €20 from this thread .

So all in all you get to bring them out to the last session of ice skating and a night in a near by hotel for a combined total of €38.09 for the 2 of you, which would be a nice surprise for your OH (although you would be stuck in dublin on monday morning for work)

Article in today's Herald stating that for an extra €5 on the hotel offer you can have a 3 course meal.

I am on the d4hotles website, any idea on how to book this offer with the 3 course meal?

Also, anyone got any other hotels around dublin doing cheap deals??

Typo? Giving away rooms for €20.09 doesn't affect D4 hotels as it is giving them a higher occupancy while without it they would be probably running at perhaps 60% but to include a 3 course meal for €5, absolute bargain but too good to be true in the business sense especially since the catering is done by an outside firm.
