Bacchus Question...

A mates looking into a new bass, he spotted this on ebay, this model any use? I know bacchus are highly regarded around these parts. Does that go for all models?

That's their standard passive Jazz, it will probably be the best Jazz he'll ever play.

I bought my Duke from Hishashi, had it in 5 days. These guys are good to deal with too.

Are they safe to ship in just a gig bag or do they sell hardcases too?

I should be fine in a gig bag. The gig bag the Duke came in from Hishashi was smothered in bubble wrap and boxed, very well packed. When I got the Woodline P from guitarjapan it came in a softcase - ie same hard shape as a hardcase made with firm lightweight foam, outside is gigbag material. If he's worried about it get one of them, I'm sure Hishashi can sort him out with some sort of deal.

Another bacchus owner here saying go for it. I know there's always a risk buying a guitar you've never got a chance to play, but let me tell you, your friend will not regret getting a bacchus,! Im still amazed by my bacchus gplayer strat, fantastic guitar for the cash.
