films for i-pod

    i was wondering is there an i-pod which allows you to download full length films? i know zero about i-pods so any help would be great

    all current generation ipods* allow the playback of video, be they 1 second or 4 hours in length**.

    itunes in the states sell movies in ipod format, the irish store however doesn't due to legal issues.


    * shuffles are obviously exclued due to the flaw of not having a screen.
    **length will obviously vary due to the disk size of the player.

    o right thanks, so where could you download films for it so?

    we'll say popular cinema titles over the past few months, is there a site where these can be got?

    i don't know of any where they can be downloaded legally and be transferred on to an ipod.

    suggestions please people, reminder any illegal suggestions will be met with a swift ban.

    o yeah forgot its actually illegal. i presume just a google search and use some site i find..would like good quality though even if it means paying more

    You could buy the DVD, then Convert it to .MP4

    there's programs listed in the sticky at the top of the page that'll convert your dvd's to mp4

    You could also get an iTunes UK gift voucher from Northern Ireland (or online) and purchase movies & tv shows from iTunes UK.
