So my sister and I are looking for a weeks holiday. Not too fussed ski/sun but I saw Sharm el Sheikh on a lot of the travel sites.

Just wondering if anyone's been and whether the nightlife etc is any use this time of year? Overall quality of resort/experiences etc?

    Any help massively appreciated!

been to Sharm, in Feb, couple years ago! gorgeously clear water, amazing for snorkling!
stayed at the Hilton in Sharm, nice, 3 restaurants to choose from so adaquate.
beaches are pretty much man made but once you get into the sea, you really don't mind!
Streets are man made and you pretty much get a taxi everywhere but it's good for a relaxing holiday. :)

I'd fit in a day trip to Cairo, we did the plane option, definitely worth it to see the pyramids and the sphinx! The other day trip is climing up mount sinai to see the sun rise, it means setting off about 2am, but again, an un-missable sight! :)
