Maybe this is a dumb question but...i've been thinking of getting a perm/wave in my hair, and I was wondering if I felt like straightening my hair, would it 'stick' or would it start going curly again after a few hours?

Unless your hair got wet or there was very high humidity it would last just as well for you as it would for someone with naturally curly hair.
You'd have to be very good about using a protective spray on your hair though because perms dry out your hair and so does the GHD.
