Changing RTW flight dates

    Hi,
I'm currently in Cambodia in the middle of a RTW trip. We booked our tickets with Trailfinders, under the Qantas ticket and were told it's straight forward to change flight dates. We've tried getting through to the Dublin and London Qantas offices, but we get put on hold for ages, and are sick of wasting money. Has anyone changed them before, and had the same problem? Or which office is the best for getting through quickly.

    Thanks.

Who did you book with? I went with Quantas but booked through USIT. Even though I'm pretty sure my details said that after I leave the country USIT are no longer responsible for that kind of stuff I still rang them in Dublin and they sorted it out. Actually, got someone at home to ring. Might be easier to do that if you have a parent at home who's at a lose end. Didn't cost me anything to change either. That was with maybe 2 months notice.

We booked with Trailfinders, and we rang them already and they told us to ring Qantas directly. Was onto someone else who used to work in Trailfinders and they told me to ring the Qantas office in the city I'm flying from(Singapore). Looks like I'll be spending a while on hold...

Go into an airport and go to thier desk. I haven't done that personally but have had mates who done it. I normally prefer to travel by buying tickets as i go along. But this time i went with trailfinders. And now i wanna change not only dates but location too. Hopefully i'll just have to pay some extra money and they'll sort it for me.

Got it sorted, rang the Singapore office, which forwards you onto OZ, which is open 24-7, and they answered straight away. Changed all the flights for free. Sorted. Now I can get back to enjoying this place :D
