    Hi,

I seem unable to grow a beard. It takes weeks for facial hair to grow and at that it does so in patches. Some areas are totally baby faced!
    And I'm nearly 28!!
My brothers have no problems at all growing a full beard in a couple of weeks!

    Any advice?

    Thanks.

Think manly thoughts. And cut down on masturbation. Just kidding. I don't think there is anything you can do to increase facial hair growth really.

Oddly, did you ever notice that after a night out you seem to have more stubble then if you were tucked up in bed?

Maybe, now just maybe, you should go out and get pissed. Not sure if it's part of the equation but you should probably try to chat up girls and make an arse of yourself. At least, that's what used to work for me.

    cut down masturbation!!

are you crazy!! its gives me a palm beard!!

Also getting drunk and making an arse of myself and chatting up birds to increase facial hair growth has no scientific merit whatsoever.
Neither does eating liquorice and stroking the bark of a dead tree under a full moon for that matter.

So any beardy docs out there(male or female) have the answer?

I think the best way to combat this epidemic is to shave more often, to make the hair grow back thicker, darker etc..

Not that i have this problem though, thankfully:D

use that hair serum for balding people on your face.
or get a hair transplant from your pubes

Would regain or a similiar product work. I am a few bald patches away from a full beard and i really hate shaving. Im 26 now so it doesnt look like there will be any improvement natrually at this stage.

Sorry to have to break this to you gents, but not all men are guaranteed facial hair growth. I know one guy who shaves every 3-4 months. Another who's hair only really grows under his chin/jaw, and a bit of a ronnie. What you should try to do is work with what you've got-perhaps chops, a lincoln, a tache, a goatee, or another style would be possible. I'm sorry that I had to tell you this, but that's just how it goes.

Should've let it grow out in teen years, that's what I did.

Now I can conjure up a mighty beard in no time.

I'm not sure if that would be safe.

Mp3guy, that would just be a coincidence.

I think I need to sit down and work on that "growing a beard" sticky. Maybe at the weekend. :)

Kelp extract from a health shop will help speed your bodys metablish which will means hair will grow quicker.
Also diet play a part eating more protien will effect your hair and most chemists do a nail and hiar growth supplement which also helps.
Having a good scratch or using an exfoiliant on your face will stimulate the area increasing blood flow which will also help.
