Evening/Ball Gown

    I need to buy a nice long evening/ball gown for a do that i'm going to in a couple of weeks. I don't want to spend a fortune on one but do want something that's nice. Anyone any idea's on where I coudl start? Either online or any shops that you know of. thanks in advance.

    Debenhams have gorgeous dresses many are on sale, i suggest a peek in there, they do have some longer gowns.

    theres a shop called Wicked Frills on Dorset street that do some amazing dresses - short long anything really. theyve a 50p/c sale at the moment i think
    Can be kinda hit and miss but theres when they're good, they're really good!

    I think Monsoon is fantastic for dresses. They can be a wee bit pricey but they probably have a sale on at the mo.

    You could also try TK Maxx

    I know it can be a nightmare but I found a lovely gown in the SSG shop last year and it was bout €50.

    Got my debs dress there, was a black halter neck long dress for €45! Bargain!

    Keep a look out in the back of the Friday/Saturday Irish Times for advertisements of sample sales. You never know what you'll find! I got my debs dress at one and with a few alterations it was just perfect!

    I don't generally buy 2nd hand clothes but do for evening dresses. I find it a good way to buy a well made dress at a fraction of the price. I have had to get dresses altered but would have to do this if buying a new dress with an array of sizes anyway, so it works for me

    sorry was writing that very quicky, 50percent off. dont think it was on all dresses though and as far as i know its over.
