The tour operators coaches take about 3 - 3:30 hours from Tolouse to Pas de la Casa and they would generally stop for a bit on the way as well. Depending on where else the coach is stopping on route though once you get to Andorra I think Arinsal might be another 20 mins'ish from Pas. Also it can get very busy on the change over days with all the buses trying to get in and out of Andorra at the same time so that can add a bit to the journey as well.

Hi, Ive been to Arinal twice before. It takes anywhere from 3:30 to 4 hours from Toulouse airport, theres a lot of long twisted roads up the mountain which takes the bus a long time to get up. Arinsal is also the last Ski resort stop for the bus in Andorra so it takes a bit longer to get there than the other resorts in Andorra, a lot of time is spent while the bus stops at all the other resorts in Andorra as it drop passengers off.

Id say the food in general is pretty crap in Arinsal, the only thing the mountain restaurants sell is chips and more chips. There are 2 ok restaurants, the Surf bar, they do a great steak and Quo Vadis Pub, we spent many nights in here drinking with the friendly bar staff. Both of these places are right on either side of the main Gondola in the town. There are plenty other places to go aswell. Oh yeah go to the Italian restaurant, i think its across the street from the Gondola, cant remember the name, anyway go in there and get a Zombie cocktail!

Yep on the coaches it takes a good 4 hours - you have to drop everyone else off before you get to Arinsal.

You could probably do it in the car in about 2hrs 45 mins. Took us 2 hours to get from Toulouse airport to Soldeu and Arinsal is a bit further along.

Quo Vadis was always great fun when I was there and also the place across the road.

Give yourself 4 hours if on a coach. Pack a nice lunch also or get some grub before the scheduled halfway stop - rip off central.

Recommend the X-Bar and the Indian below it (if still there) for a night out.

Also try jumping across to Pal using the telecabin at the top. Some nice tree line runs.

    Nice spot Arinsal.
