24 Season 7?

Heya does anyone know when/if the 7th season of 24 will be shown on RTE 2?It says they will show it on Wikipedia but I havent heard anything else bout it
I know it starts next week in the US and prob soon after on Sky One but the prob is I dont have Sky
And I hope when it is shown on RTE that they'l put it on at a decent time rather than 11 or 12 like they did with the previous season :mad:

Think it starts in two weeks on Sky 1 and RTE are usually a week or two behind sky.

Was very disappointed at the last series so i'm not sure if i'll bother.

The first 4 series were the best and a bit of 5. Was reminded there on Sunday on Sky 2 just how good when the were showing the full 24 hours of one of them.

I don't know about that. 24 is a show that RTÉ literally couldn't give a **** about. Wouldn't surprise me if they showed it after midnight beginning April

They really only started not giving a shíte about it when Sky got the jump on them a couple of years ago. Up til then, Rté benefited from the 'exclusive territory' card, which gave them the opportunity to show premier shows before the British channels got them. Sky found that they could circumvent this by claiming they had access to Irish Viewers as they were not terrestrial, and could bung the distributors a harmless extra few pound for exclusivity over Irish Television stations.

Hence when Rté did get it (a matter of days later) they bounced it around the schedules in a huff, like a sulky child.

Other programmes that have suffered from being on Satellite stations before Terrestrial stations in Ireland include Life, The Loop, Reaper, Mad Men, Entourage, NCIS, Psych, Daybreak and Eli Stone, the Rté premières (or in some cases, current runs) of all of these programmes have all aired midweek, well after midnight, with the exception of Reaper, which aired at, ahem, 11:15 pm.

does anyone know when 24 is repeated? was watchin it last night on sky one and the signal went 5 mins into the second hour of the two hours that were on last night.!! frustrating to say the least.
