Leinster 07/08 Home SS Pro Rugby Shirt £16.99. Website gives a conversion rate of 1.16 so that will work out at €19.80ish.

    http://www.lovell-rugby.co.uk/Special-Offers/Rugby-Shirts/Celtic-League/Leinster-07-or-08-Home-SS-Pro-Rugby-Shirt

Definitely real in case you're wondering. Unfortunately Munster jersey retails there for around £50
Website has loads of offers. Also has London Irish jersey for £10 etc., Shop around. You can find practically any team jersey on the site. Great tip from the lads at the rugby board.

Yup, I have one of them! It's perfect condition, 100% genuine jersey. I was even able to exchange it in the official Leinster store for a different size, they were none the wiser!

I bought a L Irish shirt last year size L and it would be a be the job as a large if I was a Yeti... maybe different for diff jerseys but the M size fit me fine. Normally a L

Lovell had offers on the Lions jerseys last month, but think Lifestyle Sports had better offer on them recently, good site and defo worth a look if you're in the hunt for some rugger gear.

    MC

Suppose the difference in price is just down to popularity and Munster being No. 1 in the rankings for so long ;)

Cheers Sangre picked one up there

Edit.... Gave wrong size info. Large rubgytech top fits me better NOT medium as I stated before. Best try one on in a shop as stated. Now I need to change my order.Damn shopping at night.

It's last season's shirt so you're not comparing like with like. You can't buy these in Dublin, any more, so what are you comparing against for value ?

    Good value on hoodies though.

Munster fans probably need 2 Munster jerseys; one for Munster games & one for Ireland games ;)

Yeah, we have the jersey of a real team for our games and then wear Mireland jerseys for the other teams events. Too many non real men in the team to warrant wearing a good jersey.... :D

Does anyone know is this shirt made of cotton or what??

The pro version is the same as the team wear, coolflow or its equivalent so this might be cotton

They haven't released a new jersey as such, theres just a version of the exact same jersey without a collar. And the one without the collar looks rubbish, so its a win-win situation. Lovell were selling these for this price before the new one came out anyway.

It's about 20% cotton and 80% polyester by the way.

Just saw this as I was browsing that site. AFAIK Elvereys charge up to 100 for this jersey.

Yeah but Lovells only have a 3XL in stock.

Watch out when buying the Leinster shirt as it's the pro version and so the sizes are tight fitting.....I got a L but it fits more like a medium which is very prop unfrienldly :(

Ye perfectly cheers. I forgot about the 00 before the 44.

Something about wrong address to go with my credit card or something.
Also mentioned there were a few problems with some of the Irish orders today so anybody who ordered might be no harm to long in and just make sure your orders going ahead.

Not to me, I was there and the terrace would have kicked the team around the place such was the mood of the home support for the errors they were seeing, still and all it was a game that counts for nothing as the Magners is just a training/blooding league for us at this point, only bad things to happen are the injuries to ROG and Tipoki :(

Quick question lads, is this the actual players top worn during games? If so I know the Canterbury fittings are quite tight. I'm 6ft and average build so should be ok with a medium?

Can't go into Elvery's and try them or anything (cause I'm in Oz!) but want to get one posted home as I'll be back there next month.

    Cheers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,186 ✭✭✭✭Sangre

    No, the actual jersey is the Test kit. Difference this is 100% polyseter, test has 22% cotton. You can see the difference on leinster rugby store page;

    http://www.leinsterrugbystore.ie/home.php?cat=6

As you can see its specifically says test kit is 'tight fit'. For this, if you are average build medium should be fine, it will fit you.

I was confusing this with the test fit that I got. I used to buy a lot of stuff off Lovell but then found this crowd on eBay who usually undercut them on everything.
I got this for 14.99 + postage of 6 quid (they were looking 24.99 but i've made several best offers for stuff from them and they always accept if you offer at least 60% of their asking price....not bad compared to 100 euros in Arnotts).

They've massive feedback and stuff i've bought has all been genuine so I recommend them (I've no connection to the site).

Muchos gracias!! My credit card is gonna take a beating lol.
So test is the best jersey you can get then?

The test jersey is the same as what the squad wear in matches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,186 ✭✭✭✭Sangre

Unless you have a body you're dying to show off there is no need to get the test jersey imo. Its basically a lot tighter so players are harder to grab/tackle.

Cheers for this, was gonna buy a few pairs of canterbury tracksuit bottoms and they were half Irish retail price on that website compared to elverys. Only pairs I wear in gym as legs are too stocky for most brands.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 813 ✭✭✭dave13

Its delivered by An post and needs to be signed for. IF there's no one at home you'll have to collect at your nearest depot. They come in individual packets.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

Collected mine from An Post this morning. A big thanks to the OP. Mine came in one package. Ordered the Jersey, a Hoodie and Tee-Shirt.

The only issue I had is that they would only deliver to my billing address and not to work. Hence the trip to the Sorting Office.

They have an eBay shop as well where you can change your shipping address to any address and they deliver because they are covered through paypals seller protection to ship to whatever address you provide.
