Today I accidentally dialled 11222 on me mobile, and found that someone was talking to me on the other end. Yerman was being a bit of dickhead, cos when I asked who was I talking to he said "whoever you rang".

My gf was curious about this number as neither of us had ever heard of it, so she rang it, and a girl at the other end answered "Online Emergency Services".

    Clue me in someone!

It's like dialing 086 12345678. The network only recognises the 086 1234567 and puts you through to that number.

So ringing 11222 you've got through to 112.

This would be my theory but I'm not ringing 112 to test it.

(112 is the EU standard 999 just in case you didn't realise)

Also as an aside you should be able to dial 112/999/911 (depending on your phone model) while the keypad is locked or while at the PIN login.
