A mate asked me about buying itunes vouchers on ebay.He had found a $200 voucher on ebay for €50 euro.I told him it sounded to good to be true and to not buy it.Well he ignored me and bought it and it worked.

That was 2 weeks ago and he has used about half of the credit.
My question is is there a gotcha with this at that price i am tempted to buy some myself.

I have an American itunes account payment is via paypal does anybody know of any problems?

    Think about it really.
Why would a gift card worth $200 be selling by a third-party for €40? (I don't think the dollar has become that weak yet :pac:)

There was a thread on macrumors discussing this recently

Most users came to the conclusion that they were bought with stolen credit cards, stolen themselves or came from someone inside apple.

So while you might or might not get in trouble for using one if it was bought with a stolen credit card, you'd still be handling stolen goods.

Not saying this is the case though, but how do they make money if they're legimate cards?
