    hey,

    does anyone know of any classes in dublin where you can learn some of the old school methods of metal work? you know, learning how to take dents out of metal panels without the use of filler or any other junk like that! i know FÁS do a welding class for 10 weeks for around €300, so something similar to that would be handy.

    You're talking about panel beating/sheet metalwork/coachbuilding and the like, which are highly skilled crafts to which people have devoted entire lifetimes.
    I don't know of anyone doing that sort of thing here in Ireland, but here's an outfit that supplies all the tools and has a bunch of instructional videos and books-

    yeah thats exactly what i'm talking about, but i had a feeling that there wouldn't be something that specialized here in ireland.
