Eyeliner for waterline

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for eyeliner that will work on the waterline? I currently use MAC fluidline and I love it, but it never stays put on my waterline. Any kind is ok, but I'd prefer stick or gel. Thanks!:D

Fluidline with some Carbon eyeshadow pressed over it usually stays on for me. Rimmel kohl lasts awhile too and GOSH waterproof liner lasts ages on your waterline, but it's really difficult to get it on

I use eyeshadows and an eye liner brush on my water line. Hasn't really made any differece which shadows I use, but it tends to stay put for me.

I know loads of people who try loads of different stuf and can never get anything to stick, so I guess it just depends on the eye really :(

Do you know where to get GOSH in Dublin? I'll definitely try the Rimmel and putting Carbon top.

Maybe I should try just straight shadow. I'm thinking it might not stay because I have contacts and tend to fuss with my eyes. I hope I'm not one of those people. Waterlines look so nice when they're lined properly!

    Thanks both!!

You can get GOSH in Debenhams.

Is the waterline, the lower eyelid rim? Never heard it called that before. MAC powerpoint pencil in Engraved is quite good for staying on.

Both of the standard Lancome and Estee Lauder Black kohl pencils work quite well for this; very well in fact;)

Yep, it's the lower eyelid rim. I doubt it's the technical name, but it's what people in makeup circles call it. Thanks, I'll take a loot at the MAC pencil!

Definitely! I just heard about tightlining the other day. As soon as I get a reliable liner for my waterline, I'm going to try it!

Ah these are just makey up names!! I prefer to call this 'the secret lining the upper lid inner rim technique'.:)

Ha, it had never even occurred to me to do that! Then I was on a makeup blog and the chick said she tightlined, and I had no idea what it meant. It seems genius though! Do you use the MAC PP pencil for this as well?

The liner doesn't seem to be affected the same way as the 'waterline' ;), so you can use most eyeliners. Whatever works best for you. I tend to forget about doing this technique. But it is really effective!

I do this sometimes, but I didn't realise it had a name! But, being a tad clumsy, it takes me forever, and I can never seem to get to certain parts of my eyes without turning into a fully fledged contortionist! :(

Also, on the waterline liner, I used Rimmel's liquid liner on mine the other night and it stayed pretty well! (Not quuiiiiite sure if it's safe to put liquid liner on your wateline?! But it looked pretty anyway :P)
