Leather jackets

I've this light tan leather jacket from Oasis that I happened to drop on a filthy and wet dancefloor on New Years Eve and it's in dire need of a good clean. I took it to two dry cleaners and they said they won't do it as they've done leather jackets before (and in particular ones from Oasis too) and they turn out like rags and/or the glue in them runs and darkens the colour of the jacket. So what am I to do? Where do people get their leather jackets cleaned?

I love it so much! And it was quite expensive so want to look after it too.
