is it just me or is this the most underhyped film of the year, 2008 inclusive?
Couldn't find a thread on here about it, there's a review of it in the film review forum alright.

    So here you go:

Its a 4 hour long film on the life and death of Che Guevara, split into 2 parts for cinemas.

Its a limited screening, and the first part is coming to omniplexes nationwide on the 2nd of January,
and part 2 should be coming in February.
The only showing in Cork is in mahon point.
It has been shown at Film Festivals around the world since August,
which makes it llook promising since its not your typical Hollywood Bull****.

Yeah the two parts were shown in a couple of cinemas in Dublin yesterday as a one-off event (saw it in IMC Dun Laoghaire myself, but IFI and Cineworld had special showings too). As I said in the review, Part One is the stronger film, and Part Two suffers a bit from repetition and a less interesting story, and overall it is a bit one-dimensional as they only really show Che as a soldier. They are good, well-made films though and a worthwhile experience (wasn't well up on Che's history myself, so definitely made it more interesting) but some of the problems made the four hours drag a bit towards the end.

Hope it's not as boring as the Motorcycle Diaries.
