    just wondering how much it cost to get threephasepower into a small workshop ESB lines are only about 400yards away any help would be great

    Not sure how much it costs You'll have to ask the esb for that but if you're a small company there was a grant going for it through 'Clar' Not sure if its still going but if you got the grant they'd pay most of the expense for you

    The price will vary depending on your needs, and various other factors.

    You don't mention whether or not the cables that are 400yards away are single phase, 3 phase or LV cables. So one of the factors would be the length back to a 3 phase line. Another would be if they need to install a new transformer or can they just take a connection from and existing one nearby.

    the tranformer is three phase and i think its Lv lots of farm around here thanks for the help
